Customers of OIX partner ISPs can "switch off" the OIX simply by going to www.webwise.com. The ISPs communicate this choice to customers through a variety of methods, including banner ads, emails and more.

A user's status (ON or OFF) will be recognized on the homepage, and the option to Switch Off or Switch On will be offered depending on which they have currently selected.

If a user does not have OIX or Webwise available to them, no opt-out option will be offered and general text will be seen.
