Much like publishers, ad networks can potentially generate more revenue for any given ad spot with the OIX. Wherever the inventory appears, homepages, subpages, blogs, email - any page can see increased income.

  1. Networks tag and price their inventory.

  2. Advertisers build OIX campaigns precisely targeting specific consumer browsing behaviour using customised behavioural channels.

  3. An Internet user is matched to relevant channels as they browse the web.

  4. When a user visits a participating network's page, the OIX checks to see if a campaign can deliver the network's price for that existing ad spot. If yes, an OIX ad is served and the network earns the price for that ad spot.

  5. Of course, if no OIX campaign can deliver the network's price for that ad slot, the network's default ad will serve.

The result is an ad that is more relevant to the site visitor, and generates more revenue for the ad network. The OIX ensures that the right ad is served to the right user at the right time, maximising yield and sell-through for networks.

Inventory Extension
