Simply log in and create the campaign using the simple, intuitive OIX interface.
To target the precise audience for the campaign, agencies can:
- Use one of hundreds of pre-set basic behavioural channels
- Combine or modify basic channels into an unlimited number of behavioural expressions
- Create custom channels using any combination of contextual page keywords, search terms and URLs
Ad channels are then matched to relevant, anonymous users as they browse.
For example, keywords "Paris" and "Eurostar", pulled from searches, URLs and contextual analysis, associate the user's cookie with the "French Travel" advertising channel. The channel match is stored, the other information is thrown away. Ads for French hotels can then be served while the user is browsing. No record of where users browsed is ever kept.
When a user browses to an OIX website, the OIX places the most valuable ad that meets the publisher's price into the ad slot.
If no OIX campaign can deliver the publisher's price for that ad slot, the publisher's default ad will serve.
So, for the first time, the OIX means agencies can buy large, yet highly specific audience segments in real time - narrowcasting as well as broadcasting.
